Quite honestly, putting it all into perspective, she's only lacking streaming power, that's mostly about it.
Even though pop fans already dismissed it after few hours of availability on iTunes, the song will still debut at #2 in Digital sales and still holds on into the Top 5 almost a week later without any notable promo. (For example, Make Me was already at #18 at this point, while Rise was already leaving the Top 10 by the end of the week).
Radio is doing well, as of now, also. The audience might be a little bit short, but it takes some time for big stations to put in in power rotation. No need to panic about that just yet.
Streaming on the other hand is pretty underwhelming. She's at over 12M on Youtube and over 10M on Spotify, but that's mainly because she has a pretty solid fanbase and a lot of fans that wouldn't buy the single on iTunes, but would rather spend hours and hours refreshing a YouTube page or playing a Spotify playlist with Perfect Illusion. That doesn't quite count.
More so, lots of these fans come from countries like Brazil, Mexico and so on and that doesn't do any advantage for the Hot 100. For example: only about 17% of Perfect Illusion's YT streams come from the US (aprox. 2.2M streams).
The only hope we could now have is that radio will start picking it up as soon as possible, giving the general public a chance to hear the song and then go on an stream it if they like it. Or we could hope that the music video becomes somehow viral and more people get to now that she released a new song and then continue streaming it on big platforms.
In conclusion. Even though she looks like debuting in the 15-20 area as of now, that might not be her peak.
If sales won't drop drastically in the next few weeks, radio audience continues to grow, she could do this and help it re-peak: organize a Perfect Illusion week: a music video release on Monday (which could push the song up to 15-20M weekly streams), about 2 TV appearances (to keep digital sales going) + the better radio receipts = higher peak.
