The expectations were set too high for TD's sales. The album is doing great, it's far ahead of where OOTB was at the same point in its chart run. She also caters to a pop audience, who aren't as loyal album buyers.

Urban artists get much better, or at least stable, album sales.

Ci has been out there. Like I said before, Ride didn't get much support but like other 1st singles from labelmates, same pattern occurred. Also with a song like Ride, much promo could not have been done with it aside from what she did.

knowing her management + how infamous they are for slacking with promotion......

they handled the last 2 eras horribly + started this era not even promoting ride in any way besides a video so theres no way for me to magically know theyre gonna promote

Just because they picked bad singles doesn't mean they didn't promote correctly

Although with FR, it was clear they cut that to work on Basic Instinct.

But if you honestly not sure not gonna promote when it comes to album release

You need to look at her past appearances.
