Tbh I don't see this season going well for me.

I think being at home stifles my creative urges and I'm stuck in a rut so I've got no new experiences to use for inspiration.

So, i've been stalking this thread for like a week or something (i actually posted once but deleted the post shortly after), and all of you are really good at this. And i absolutely love those songs that are already recorded and uploaded, listening to the songs give the lyrics a whole new feeling!

I kinda wish i could write songs like these, or any song at all for that matter. I've been dealing with writer's block for about a year and a half and it bothers me a little bit lol. But i hope that sticking around to this thread can give me some inspiration to continue writing.

And I'll try to post more often if i feel i can add something useful to the conversation. That being said, thanks for reading!

Join PH next month! It's helped me get out of writers blocks a few times. The added challenge competition really improves your writing as well

I've been reading about Platinum Hit in this thread but i'm not quite sure what it's all about yet.

I'd like to participate, and i'd really like to share my already existing songs with you to hear your thoughts.

The only reason i haven't done it is because i worry people that know me in real life could associate me with my fan accounts. I mean, i deleted my whole personal Twitter history and i've deleted years worth of Facebook posts just so no one can dig up anything embarrassing from there if i attempt to pursue a career. If they catch my fan accounts then im doomed

But i'll definitely think about it. Either way, I'm sure i can take some advantages from the competition even if don't really participate on it, so i'll be looking forward to it. Thanks for the advice

What's up everyone, I've never posted here but I've written a little over 20 songs I'm just to self conscious to post them! I wrote one last night in bed in 10 min cause my friend and I were talking about how fast time has passed since we were kids and how stressful it is nowadays so I felt inspired! Also do any of you have tips on creating a melody cause so far I just write songs without any sound, I want that to be my next step
