Why? I've always found CAS to be very tedious (especially in TS3). I always tried too hard to perfect my sims and never got the results I wanted. I prefer ruining their lives. Hopefully TS4 has improved upon clothing selection and hair styles for men, they're always lacking.

Yeah. I actually created an account there ages ago (at MATY) but I stopped using it because they're Internet's hugest trolls, specially the Admin (forgot his name) . Although I kept downloading their fixes, stolen EA content & mods
Did we get anything today? I'm seeing new screens or is that old?
Anyway I've decided regardless of story progression and open world stuff I'm gonna age my sims with The Sims 2-style because it's so much better. Spending a week or 2 with each family so they all (kind of) age together is my favourite way to play a whole town. I'd only turn it on for a legacy save file.
