She was starting to give a Halo at the Super Bowl with Formation, but not as much cause it's not a ballad. The quality of her voice changed because she was singing throughout the performance.

I hate ya'll. This woman puts in all the thought and effort into her work, and ya'll look for reasons why it's not perfect. Even though it's leaps and bounds above what the other pop girls are serving. It was OBVIOUS she was hoarse, but some people's apparent bias blinds them to the facts and it becomes a stan war'd thing.
