That's what I mean. Jennifer Aniston chooses films where her characters are mostly surface, so she doesn't have to "invest heavily" into those character. But Jennifer Aniston is deciding to do those type of movies, no one is forcing her. That's why I said I don't think she
likes to do "heavy" or "complicated" characters. But when she
does, like in "Friends With Money" or "Good Girl" or, most recently, "Life of Crime," Aniston always gets critical acclaim. So, if Jennifer Aniston wants an Academy Award, she has the
direct power to make that happen. She'll most likely get one eventually. The critics tend to like her.
