Was also thinking bout this. But seeing the leak that happened then, I think the announcement will be made a little closer to the actual single release date. So probably second week of august....

But they were planning on having a month between album announcement and release of the first single. They did not know it was gonna leak.

I wonder if Taylor having a whole night long fuc k session was the reason she was in church soon after?
