They've determined how many points are associated with racism.
Some would think personal attacks or other things should be an automatic ban but that doesn't happen.
Let the mods do their job and accept the decision to make certain warnings worth an x amount of points.
By the way, if people are not going to cry about prejudice which happens way more than racism here then they need to just report posts they deem "racist" and let the mods make the decision

Can a mod clear this up for me, because I don't understand this system. Why do we get warned for everything we say on here, while users who literally use this site only to go after one person, day in and day out, are still running around on here unbanned? You guys say to just report them, but obviously no one can because there's multiple of them and you can only report like once a day. As ATRL users yourselves you should notice the patterns and take action. I've seen a mod call a user out before for obsessively trolling a certain artist and yet they're still here. A simple look at a user's post history with dozens of troll posts in a row and hundreds of results of negative comments about one person aren't enough for you guys to take action, then what is the point of even being a moderator?

We're a general pop culture forum. Negative opinions are allowed if they're on topic and not baiting for arguments. If you want a more positive environment, then we have the fan base threads and the album/single discussion threads.
We do agree trolls can get away with a bit too much before they are banned, so in the future we might adjust the warning limits and ban lengths. But we'll get to that after we've settled on the new forum. We'll have more options to restrict the more disruptive members, so it might not be necessary.
