MTV News can at last confirm that Britney Spears will perform at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards live from the Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas.
She’s been headlining in the tabloids over the past few months for her personal life but now Brit’s ready to hit the stage to open this years awards with her new track Gimme More. The fallen pop princess is set to pull focus six years after her python performance at the 2001 VMAs.
The executive producer of this year's VMAs, Jesse Ignjatovic has revealed that in keeping with the glamorous theme of Las Vegas, Britney has consulted top illusionist Criss Angel on "some of the moments of the performance". This may add more fuel to the fiery rumours that Spears and Angel are romantically linked.
When MTV presented Britney with the opportunity to perform "she was into it and excited to do it” Jesse explains, “I wanted her to come on and make a statement right from the very beginning of the show. And she'll kill it…There's no one better!"

She sings HER BALLAD AND SLOW SONGS LIVE but ALL THE SONGS WITH DANCE SHE USUALLY USE BACKING TRACK. It is hard to be on tune while dancing. Mazen has just some attitude problems to deal with.
