According to MTV Canada, Avril Lavigne is the biggest selling artist of 2007 so far! This was stated in an article concerning Avril's recent winnings at the EMAs 2007. Whether this is on a worldwide scale or Canada alone, it is not yet known, but with the brand new edition of The Best Damn Thing being released in the US and France next week(other release dates are yet to be announced), and the release of Hot as a single, it seems that Avril may just keep this hugely coveted spot through to the new year.
