You can't generalize like that. Stranger things have happened. Not to mention awarding Moonlight would sort of make up for that and also help with the clout of controversy they got as a result of #OscarsSoWhite.

It is highly unlikely though. I think Manchester by The Sea is the only movie that will have potential to screw up LLL. With the recent political climates, we are in for shock

Unlikely but still a possibility, along with Manchester by the Sea as you say. Ceremonies that actually have an overlap with the academy will be more telling.

We should wait for PAG and SAG. I doubt BAFTA is reliable anymore
They are basing the prediction based on SAG, BAFTA and National Board Review. And most people don't take GG seriously after the whole debacle last year when Gaga won over Kirsten Dunst

Yes. It's not at the same level as 12 Years of Slave. It was a cute movie, that's all. I don't understand why people think it will win BP. I mean LLL>MBTS>Moonlight
