Not really, there's a reason she played more urban and tried putting reggea/tribal influence son her songs. The same reason Nicki Minaj did her old jamaican song.
Hackney is full with people who "listen" to that type of music. SOS, Unfaithful, YD1 and those sort of songs would not go down well,same way not a lot of people were interested in poor Leona.

I watched her set last night and I was seriously impressed. Her stage presence was awesome and I loved her interaction with the crowd. The atmosphere during Run This Town, We Found Love and Umbrella seemed amazing.
She sang Love The Way You Lie beautifully. I liked the whole tribal theme of the set, very imaginative.
I went to Radio 1's Big Weekend in Carlisle last year. It was so amazing. Watching Rihanna's set made me wish I was back there.
Haven't seen the performances yet, as I just came back from holiday today, but based on the comments it's something to look forward to. And I'm glad to see WHYB doing so well on the radio, but it's pretty close to dropping outside the top10 in US iTunes, so it's not looking too good on that front...
I'm honestly shocked though when I did finally vote, Gaga had quite a big lead. I thought ATRL would be here for one of Rihanna's better performances. It was a coincidence that one of my fave Gaga moments was Radio 1 so I could create a thread to see if people felt radio 1 gaga same as me.
