It did better in every country outside of the US and Canada tho, and even in the US it outlasted WB on the charts!
It still underperformed though. You'd expect it to be a much bigger hit than WB but it only did slightly better. I mean it didn't even go Top 10 in the UK. We need a hit, not a moderate hit at most.
In an ideal world:
-ITZ Britney will come back
-She will SLAY the Billboard Awards and it'll be her best ever
-She ditches Piece of Me
-Pretty Girls becomes her biggest hit ever
-Pretty Girls reaches a billion views on VEVO
-B9 sells 6m+ WW
Don't forget breaking her own record for 1st week sales
Honestly, success would be very nice but I don't really care for it much. I just want good music and I think Pretty Girls will be that. That's why I still stan for her (don't hate me pls)... Britney still makes good music. I care for nothing else at this point. But if she slays the Billboard performance, I'll be happy.
In the Zone Britney will never come back because of the simple fact that she doesn't feel like she has to prove herself anymore and y'all need to accept this.
For me this Q&A was the highlight of the era. She really paid dust to BJ when she confirmed she couldn't remember which song she recorded first and she acknowledged her flawless songs like Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know and Touch Of My Hand!
