I am a HUGE Roger fan but Novak is amazing. I still think Roger will end up having more endurance than Novak because of the way Novak plays. Look at Rafa, Roger at 30 was still capable of being Number 1 but Rafa has lost his recovery and his firepower.
Novak is better than Rafa but physicality is still a big deal in his game and once he loses that step, he'll have trouble. He still COULD win more slams than Roger before that happens though. Novak could go the Roger route and become more offensive as hegets a bit slower and less powerful but he is not that good at the net, we'll see.
Overall, Roger and Novak are probably among the 3 best players that have played this game so far(I don't like GOAT because I feel like tennis has changed WAY TOO MUCH across the years for it to be a fair comparison) If we talk about modern times, then Roger and Novak will be considered the TOP 2, time will decide who will be on top.
Rafa can't even enter the discussion because he was uncapable of dominating the tour for anything longer than a year. Weeks at number 1 is a big deal, that's another field where I feel Novak could give Roger a run for his money.
