Please don't call me "sweetie" ... I don't think it's appropriate for a man to call another man "sweetie" ... THANKS!

Woah ,you're such a damn hypocrite.
I feel dizzy after reading BEP ROCKS!!'s nonsensical posts. But I will take the one he DIRECTED to me.

I find it pretty hypocrtical when you post such thing on a BILLBOARD thread. Why are you here on the first place?
Ok , Let's get an example from the infamous B2B thread:
Quote:
Candyman Candyman!!.Seriously this song is a revolution!!..Its already a huge ass feat that a retro song like this even managed to chart so high in this recently fickle Top 40 radio community..Now its back to Number 11..Its entering top 10 before the weekend ends!!..thats a given..Next week's hot 100 chart is a top 20 placement for Candyman for sure..Candyman is already such a massive success for its type of style..Retro songs these days re a NO NO but candyman has surprised!!..Good job C..
|
Oops! It looks like we have someone over here who doesn't care about the success that-comes-with-SALES-&-Radio Stations at all. HYPOCRITE.

But you forgot that at the end of the day that's YOUR opinion. You're not the god who judges what is quality and what is not. Millions of people go out buying Beyonce's CD and leaving B2B on the shelves becasues they think the OPPOSITE. Will you stop living in denial?

wow. You're not only a hypocrite ,but you're also stupid.
But hey, I've come to a conclusion that whenever the Holy Aguilera flops , we should all ignore sales because they don't matter at this case. Her music is the promised notes from god and it's everybody's sin that they don't buy her album anymore.
one last thing, stop using the words "YOU" & "YOUR" please . Because you don't even know me. I live in the middle east ,and I listen to quality music from all over the world and from countries that you haven't heard about yet. I don't rely on some stupid charts to get the music I listen to. So save your advice to your lovelyself. Thx.
btw, Nick , I love d you too!

"...let´s not start a fight, it´s not worth the drama.."
as i said earlier, alot of people love her, alot of people hate her....everyone´s got an opinion on christina, that´s cool with me, but i hate when it turns out to stupid vs. fights, which only fuel haters...
and also, of course beyonce (which i strongly like) and christina has nothing to do with each other, if it seems like it´s only christina-fans who mocks her, that´s sad...
i love following charts and sales, i´m a chartfreak sometimes, but frankly, the amount of sold copies doesn´t affect me at all when it comes to me liking a record....christina has some big sellers, nirvana had, led zeppelin had...that´s about all for me, the rest of my absolute fav bands/artists hardly even chart at all, and pop in general is almost a blank paper to me, christina is the only real "pop-star" that has caught my interest.
so sorry dubai -bitch and temptation (who despite of his dislike towards christina, has a great amount of posts in the B2B thread, wonder why it´s "infamous"), your attempts to bring christina fans down fail, in the end it´s about the music, not about selling 3,5 or 5 or 7 million copies.
I let you love your favs , you let us love christina, too much to ask for?

Bep rocks! no one said a damn thing about Beyonce but since you brought it up....I'm gonna have to flash back to August/September 2006 when ppl like you were saying just because B'Day sold a lot in the 1st week doesn't mean anything. Christina will come out on top. WRONG! I love Bee and Xtina both. B2B + B'Day are amazing albums, and for your info Bep Rocks both had great production whether it took 2 weeks or 4 years to come up with the idea.
Let's point out some things. "Deja Vu" did terrible. Horrible reviews, didn't do AMAZING on radio, but yet it peaked #4 and ANOM, which went top 10 on radio and had amazing downloads only managed #6. "Ring The Alarm" which literally got no radio attention until like the last few weeks of it's time on the charts debuted at #12 and peaked at #11, and totally missed the top 20 on radio, but "Hurt" went top 10 on radio and only got to #19. We're not gonna talk about "Irreplaceable" because that got highly overrated and annoying to hear it every time I turned to a different station, but skipping to "Candyman", yet another song that did better on radio as far as picking up can't even go #1 like I want it too. Yeah it's not about sales ALL THE TIME, but sales are still a strong point. I mean how do you think the Hot 100 is compiled dumbass? Sales and airplay, DURH!! That was probably the most dumbest thing I've ever read. Sales show how much fans appreciate the work an artist puts their blood and heart into to impress and give to them. Honestly both Xtina and Bee expanded their minds this go round, but get over it Bee is doing more to give to her fans than Xtina. She's worrying about performing all the time, but Beyonce is out trying to give her fans a reason to buy her album, compared to Xtina which the only reason us fans have to go buy it is looking at the boring video of "Hurt", which we all know hurt the **** out of her sells, and that's it. Even though it's old news it still was a bad choice for the 2nd single at such a crucial time in sells. She could've gone big releasing something else for the Xmas time but she didn't. So I'm done with the Bee vs. Xtina thing because I hate when this happens. So I'm off of it, but say one more thing to me and whoever does it is officially done cause I'll attack where it hurts bitch.
Now, personally I wanted "Candyman" to blow up. Read my siggy, it's been there since January. But like I said in January radio will die down, the video (although it's better than all of Bee's B'Day Anthology stuff put together) would soon be forgotten. "Candyman" was a risky release, and I love her for that. I'm sure Bee would never decide to release "Freekum Dress" officially, cause she knows it would flop. But Xtina gave Candy a chance and I love her for that. So all I gotta say is if she wants to keep this album selling stop performing ALL THE TIME, I mean yes it is a good way of promotion but no one else is doing as much as she is doing and she's been on tour since what last year. Compared to other artists like JT or Bee or Fergie, they're not spending all their promotion time trying to find several places to perform or trying to headline a tour so early. Justin is now, but the first few months he was out doing other things to promote. So Xtina's best luck to push this album to at least 2 million, which I hope she can do, is release "Back In The Day" which is a very good radio appealing song, or maybe "Slow Down Baby", and make a video that people can hold on too. If not she's gonna pick something stupid and it'll be another disappointment. OH, and also release it before I feel like it's been 4 years again. I pray Christina can all of a sudden pick up on radio but top 40 is so overcrowded with unnecessary **** I doubt this will happen.

^^we´re on the same page alot rico!
we both like christina AND bee, and we write long posts!
your right on your points, but i´m feeling that RCA and christina have some friction between each other now, they could actually help candyman by skipping the idiot-edit on radio, and release the physical single in UK, where candyman has done effect, contrary to hurt!....oh well, i´m actually all excited by the new look she´s been sporting lately, i hope you´ve seen the new pics in the christina pics thread?

Yeah it seems like the two have been conflicting for some reason. As far as the multiple single choice rumors and other things. And I hate the radio edit! It's so stupid. The original version is not the bad. They can say stuff like "slap that ass" or other things but make my cherry pop and makes my panties drop are not as bad as other stuff on radio.
