"Shake It Out" is a power ballad song by English REAL indie rock band Florence and the Machine. Lyrically the track is about shaking the regrets and the things that were haunting Florence that time. I must say that i really loved its structure lyrically because Florence expounded the concept of the song about regrets. Musically this one is one of those tracks that uplifts your spirit because this tracks incorporate baroque pop, ART ROCK with soul and gospel elements making this track organic as ever. It really sounds like an anthem for summer that provides empowering production and lyrics that uplifts your weary soul. I love its contrast btw, the track has its natural gothic and haunting production but the end result of listening to this track is positive and light. I loved the part that says "It's hard to dance with the devil on your back, so shake him off. The video was also one of its kind tbh. Its feast my eyes with artistry with it. ""Shake It Out" was nominated in the 2013 Grammy Awards for Best Pop Vocal Performance by Duo/Group.
