Previously on Top Member!
-The contestants faced off in a FIERCE battle of avatars!
-Public voting was introduced!
-Due to life circumstances, Remeese was forced to withdraw from the competition. He was replaced by IAmCannibal.
-As a result, public voting was cancelled (until further notice) so as not to annoy the ATRL public with numerous polls.
-Deuces held "Post ***** Sign-Ups" in an effort to replace Remeese and his multi-post mentality.
-quiqui4eva revealed her fondness for working with children. 
-Mr. Duff and TheGeoKing are cast out from the Top Member house, revealing the TOP 10!
-Judge Matty reenacted the infamous Tyra vs. Tiffany moment in response to Geo's apparent happiness at being eliminated.
-The contestants and judges were given a day off!
Episode 3 - Lyrical Genius [2011]
While 2011 is just only halfway through, there's no doubt we've had some INCREDIBLE MUSIC released this year. Among the more notable pieces of a song are its LYRICS, which not only help keep karaoke bars in business, but also help us make sense of the world around us. This challenge will attempt to reveal a bit about how each of you tick, by analyzing the lyrics you most admire!
Each of you will PM me 1 verse, 1 chorus, OR 1 bridge of a song from THIS YEAR. You may NOT send more than one, so choose wisely. Additionally, you will NOT be including the name of the artist or song title. JUST THE LYRICS. You will be evaluated based on how well the lyrics flow, their meaning, and their impact. You will NOT be providing any explanation, so your lyrics should be chosen carefully. See an example entry below (though these lyrics are from 2006, so as not to steal one of your potential choices):
"Just can't seem to get over the way you hurt me
Don't know how you gave another who didn't mean a thing, no
The very thing you gave to me
I thought I could forgive you and I know you've changed
As much as I wanna trust you I know it ain't the same
And it's all because you lied"
*Note: Some sections of songs may be longer or shorter than the one shown here, but as long as it fits within the 1 verse, 1 chore, OR 1 bridge limit, it will qualify.
As this challenge will take careful thought and consideration, you will have until 11:59pm [23:59], Pacific Standard Time, on July 30 to submit your entries. Will your lyrics be genius enough to land you in the Top 3? Or will your words fall short and send you packing? Good luck!
