I would dispute that on the basis of her actually being a good vocalist - despite what some would have you believe - and on the basis of charisma and persona being massive components of a good performer.

Basically the only thing I'd be willing to give y'all is that she can't dance nearly as well as Madonna, and could never hope to. But honestly, that's it for me.

Her early performances were pretty plain looking, and she was still a successful touring artist.

Charisma goes a long way, Kylie's concerts are just fun. In the huge spectacle of Les Folies one of my favourite parts is Better Than Today with K just dancing on her own and playing with the crowd.

Yeah, the Impossible Princess era is tragic and pretty much the reason why she shies away from doing anything totally experimental tbh. I think she got burned badly by the negative reaction.

Intimate & Live was a big moment in her career though because it promoted her as a legit touring act in Australia. When Light Years was released, people already knew she gave a great performance hence why the On a Night Like This tour was the biggest arena tour by a female ever there (until P!nk stole the crown )

I mean, anyone familiar with her material throughout the 90's or who's seen more than one or two of her live performances, even the more recent ones, can attest to this. She's not a thin-voiced Minnie Mouse type as detractors would portray her.
