Homegirl doesn't put that much thought into her single covers/photoshoots/music videos. She needs a stylist and her stylist needs a stylist. So, don't put too much weight in what she wears.
I think this jeff dude is full of it tbh. I just don't see how he can have the song yet, it was just announced 12 hours ago so unless he works for the label. I understand he leaks clips or whatever before the songs come out, but I don't know. It sounds like he just might not like KC because that answer was really vague.
