I don't think they're that delusional. There's absolutely no way the video will have any effect being released in 2014. I mean, we're almost on the edge of glory with the single as-is (though it just NOW being put into power rotation is nice.)

Gaga is still one of their biggest money makers. The only other people that have earned them more money than Gaga has with ARTPOP is Mackelmore and Eminem if I'm correct.

Macklemore is independent, but he's distributed through WMG. Not Interscope.

I'd assume that Blurred Lines brought them more money than ARTPOP era has. Same with Imagine Dragons and to. A lesser extent, Maroon 5 (they made most of their money last year though, with Payphone and One More Night)
