No matter what she does, their will always be a rock influence and tone.

I'm not expecting a drastic change in her sound, but I do think it is going to be happy-empowering as opposed to boy-bashing.

I think this jeff dude is full of it tbh. I just don't see how he can have the song yet, it was just announced 12 hours ago so unless he works for the label. I understand he leaks clips or whatever before the songs come out, but I don't know. It sounds like he just might not like KC because that answer was really vague. And then when asked if it was a ballad or mid tempo, he just ignored it. Why? Because the bitch doesn't know.
