I don't like that. I never like a live performance being the first time I hear a song, it makes it harder to judge the quality of the performance cuz you're so stuck on the newness of the song.

I wonder if Gaga will do SNL this year?? She could promote the single on March 5th, in between the Buffalo & Ottawa dates on the tour, or she can wait until May. Last year's season finale was on May 15th, so this year it will probably be May 14th. Couldn't think of a better way to end the season than with Lady Gaga!

For whatever reason it just occurred to me that interscope would never allow Gaga to release a single with lyrics as risky as these unless everything else was absolutely amazing, from the produciton to the melodies. And even if they did concede to releasing a subpar track they wouldn't have done so without putting up a fight, which i'm sure Gag would have hinted to us.



The fact that they're pushing it in such a major way shows that she couldn't possibly have been overhyping her work...Not to mention all the rave reviews from third parties.... Feb 13 canNot come fast enough

I tend to agree with this. I still don't know what the whole story was behind all those tweets she made when the Alejandro video was about to come out. She sounded like she was fighting with the label over the content.
