Her parents Andrea and Scott Swift have been separated for at least two years, unbeknownst to the press until now, but have been holding off divorce proceedings in order to avoid hurting Tay-Tay vis-a-vis her career. I'm still not sure if I believe her parents are splitting up or not. None of the sites that have picked up the story are the most reliable of places...

I think that's why it may be hard for her. She probably didn't realise they were planning to seperate two years ago. And since she's got the girl-next-door image, we all assumed she lead a picture-perfect loving family life.

That site is the absolute pits. They always attack Taylor.
