For a city of 23 million people, New York is VERY safe.

The Greater Toronto area has 6 million people. Manhattan ALONE gets 4 million every weekday. There's literally no comparison.

It's not a bad thing at all! I think what people are getting at is that having a larger population just sets the US in a different league. Not so much that it makes the country better necessarily. I applaud Canada for being so manageable and in order because of it's smaller size

Well considering our next election isn't until 2019, obviously not...

Not to mention the fact that Canada has about 3% black people. It would be much more likely that we'd have an Asian (East Asian, or South Asian) prime minister, given our demographics.
