haha I'm glad someone agrees with me. I'm kind of tired of dark, monster gaga. I hope she lightens up a little bit for her 3rd album next year. I gotta admit, I miss The Fame era. To me, it was just more fun.
What annoys me though, is that most GaGa fans think being dark is so much more artistic. Her image could be fun and still be artistic. Just look at Andy Warhol.
When I saw the Alejandro video, I realized how much it isn't very likeable or shocking like GaGa's previous videos. After seeing her previous videos for the first time, it was like the song was reborn. For example, after seeing the BR and Telephone videos, the songs suddenly became 3597943267x better just because of the epicness of the videos. In a way, the video for Alejandro did NOT have that affect on me and kind of made me like the song a little less. I still love the song, but the video in a way ruined my view of it. The video was just too dark and depressing for the song that MTV has called "Song of the Summer." I really can't see myself chillin on the beach and listening to it anymore.

Well Gaga did say The Fame and The Fame Monster era are like Yin and Yang. So if The Fame was fun, TFM was bound to be dark and mysterious. Hopefully she re-invents her image for the 3rd album
yeah, I would expect to be a little more happy or not as dark. I mean it is a "Summer Song"
Anyways, she is closing this era with a very dark video, so I will expect something totally different for the next era, sometime next year.
Yeah I alejandro is my fave GaGa song ever but I wanted a happy video, somthing like her seducing a latin man or sumthing but instead we got...................... i dun even no whats the video about. Still I cuz she's brave for doin' videos like that.
Yes streaming did peopell it into the top 5. But the streaming did come from the video right? And that means the video DID have an impact. And with the digitals, no one was specific enough and actually said "Alejandro's video had no impact on its digital sales." So making that assumption out of thin air is like trying to nail water to a piece of wood
