Last week it was pretty low on Spotify for 3 days ... this week it was higher for whole week
+ the video views were at its low for those 3 days last week before AMA's ... and since AMA's SOL video is getting the best views ever, always above 1 million daily
+ Live AMA performance had less than 300K views for last week ... it will have 600K Us views this week
So hopefully that cal also help

Not sure why, but every single song on Spotify that I track went down so far in views for the first 5 days compared to the first 5 days of last week. SOL from 2.1M to 1.9M and 679 from 2.2M to 1.9M, but with the Youtube increase SOL should still increase a bit overall yeah.
And the streaming gap between the 2 will certainly be quite a bit smaller.

Anyway, do we know about any new big releases coming this week? Because if not, maybe Selena could potentially overtake 679 still next week ... nothing else seems to be increasing now

Correctness is based on a little formula I invented. It's 100% - incorrect songs * 1.5% - number positions off * 0.5%. The numbers are totally random, but make sense to me.
Some strange positions (especially Watch Me and Jumpman) in the 14-20 range brought the score down for everyone.
Congrats Ger though

YAY, this week was actually kinda hard to predict

I'm wondering if Sorry could break the record for the longest peak at #2. Right now the record is 10 weeks, and Sorry has four. Hello will get a big boost with airplay (and probably with sales too) as soon as Christmas is over and AC goes back to playing regular music.

i sincerely don't Think so, some new, hot song will be released and take it in like late january, but right now it def looks like Hello will sit on top for at least 10 weeks!

Has looked like that since day 1 and I still would be super surprised if it fell short of 10 weeks.

If she takes "One Sweet Day" record what's left for Adele to snatch? these upcoming weeks will be exciting.

15 consecutive weeks at #1 with an album (currently hold by Carole King's Tapestry), and 54 weeks at #1 in total (hold by west side story soundtrack).
the latter is obviously impossible, but who knows about the first one?

It looks like these songs are shaping up to be early 2016 hits....
(judging iTunes and Radio)
The Weeknd - "In The Night"
Daya - "Hide Away"
Twenty One Pilots - "Stressed Out"
The Chainsmokers ft. ROZES - "Roses"

Yeah, 10 weeks seem to be on lock, I don't think she will snatch Mariah's record.

Growing 1 mil in audience and up in sales this week, based on Kworb estimates:
In the Night 3.3 mil, 5k (Pop, HAC, Rhythmic)
Die a Happy Man 1.5 mil, 3k (Country)
Stressed Out 1.3 mil, 4k (Pop, HAC, Alt, Active Rock, AAA)
No Role Modelz 1.1 mil, 2k (Rhythmic, Urban)
Jumpman 1.1 mil, 6k (Rhythmic, Urban)
In streaming era, times when an artist had a big album debut week + a T20 song debut concurrently:
Jay-Z, Bieber, Taylor, Drake, Luke. 4 males and 1 goddess.

He's a new R&B artist. He released his debut album on 10/2 (it debuted at #11 on the BB200).
His single Don't is blowing up on urban radio (where it is #5). It has also risen well on Spotify, ascending from #50 to #19 in exactly one month.

Right now Sorry seems far ahead of any song in the US except Hello, but Adele is even further ahead at #1. This coming week looks like Bieber's 5th week at #2, and will be Hello's 6th week at #1. The Christmas freeze is coming too, which means both songs could be locked into the Top 2 through early January, and Adele rebounds in airplay right after Christmas and New Years. She could last through the Grammy's at #1.
At the 1996 Grammy's, Mariah Carey and Boys To Men sang One Sweet Day, whereas Mariah could have sang Always Be My Baby. Mariah knew history was about to be made, and the performance and anticipation leading up to it helped OSD to break the record. If Adele sees she has a chance at the OSD record, I think she'll probably do a medley of Hello and its follow-up at best. I think if Hello is still #1 then, she will perform at least part of the song.
Both Hello and Sorry will get a sales boost when people go to I-Tunes after Christmas, but Adele should have the edge there too (both songs could clear 500k the week after Christmas, and Adele could go back over 600k). AC may begin to play Sorry a little after Christmas, but Adele will have a huge lead over Bieber. And even though it looks like Hello is approaching its peak at Top 40, she still has a large lead over Sorry. Hello won't freefall just like Uptown Funk never free fell. I think Sorry may eventually reach #1 in Top 40 Airplay, but Adele is excelling in a lot of radio formats Bieber will have a harder time breaking through.
Bieber has the lead at ODS, which makes sense since his entire CD is available for streaming and so far only Adele's Hello can be streamed. At some point she'll put another song up for streaming, but with 25's amazing sales I think she's holding off on giving the entire CD to Spotify. She might give it to Apple Music and other paid streaming music sites before giving it to Spotify.
