Here we have another of my favourite bands: Starsailor. All The Plans was definitely not their best album. They didn't change thieir style since their first album to this. I still like them, but I think they need to swing and don't get stucked in the same style. Although they did not change a lot from their first albums I still support them.

Bat For Lashes makes her only appearance and in top 5! This is the only single I really like from her. I haven't heard any entire album from her ever before. But I think I will have to check them, especially because I'm gonna see her live in about a month and a half! She will perform before Coldplay in their "Viva La Vida Tour"! "Daniel" was a very special song for me during 2009. I thought it deserved a good position in this countdown, so here it is at #4.

The Killers' gig was certainly one of the best ones I've ever been. Such an intense and awesome show!
For many people "Spaceman" is one of their worst songs. But I don't feel like it. For me, this is the best single out of Day & Age. The video is quite weird and does not make any sense, lol. But it is true that this is one of the most powerful songs from The Killers. Since 2008 when I first heard this song up to now, I didn't get bored of it. Something that do not happen in me with many The Killers' songs.

Muse appears again with this awesome and powerful track. The video is good also. As I said before, they changed their sound a lot from their previous albums. And that's something I like from them. I don't have anything to add. I love this song, and that's why it is at #2.

Yes, definitely Phoenix came back this year with one of their best albums. Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix is one of the few albums I've heard fully this year. And I have to say it is amazing. Every single song is good and catchy in some cases. I've been checking their previous albums, and I realized that they have changed a lot from their first albums. And I really like their new sound! The video for this song is quite simple, but it makes the song even better! This song only reached #1 in my weekly countdown for two weeks meanwhile "Lisztomania" was 4 times on the first place, lol. But, the thing is that I really love this song. It was my #1 in my mid-year countdown also. There you can check what I said in the beginning about the music we had this year. Any song from July to December could beat "1901", lol.
And to finish this, I want to share with you my happiness. As I said before, during 2009 I was very busy at school. That was because I was preparing me to take and international exam: the IB (International Baccalaureate).
Today (January, 5th) I was just chatting when a message appears on screen. I read the subject. And I said: "The Results are already!". I clicked on it and there it was the clear message from the coordinator of my school: "Congratulations guys, you all passed your exams!". You cannot imagine how happy I am at the moment!!! It was a hard way to get here. And finally, I hit my goal.
It was something I wanted to share with you all. I don't think many people would read all this, but thanks to those who dare (and sorry if my English is not good).
