By the way: songs since 2000 (besides full debut sales weeks) whose first week in the T10 was at #1:
Wrecking Ball (which had only one week in the sales T2)
Harlem Shake (which had only one week in the sales T2)
Someone Like You
...Blessed Space (which should be getting its second sales #1 this week)?
Since streaming was added, songs that did go #1 the first week they were digitally released: Shake it Off, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together

Billboard goes with the magazine date of the last Saturday in November if there are five Saturdays in November, and the first Saturday in December if there are five Saturdays in December. Next year, because the day changes by one, the last chart could be either 28 November or 05 December. There is only four Saturdays in November and December in 2015, but I think Billboard will go with the chart dated 05 December. Admittedly, with the chart data available online 9-10 days before the "chart date" Billboard needs to take the 120-year-old method of determining dates differently.

2x platinum is pretty good for a hit of Bang Bang's size. Comparing it to Rude (2.8M) shows that BB's sales are actually good.

Ok, so WHAT KINDA OF MONSTER SMASH AATB IS? The music video is gaining more and more each week worldwide, it went up to 27.4M views this week, insane.
Shake It Off's views went up like crazy (15%) this week so even when plummeting hard because of the Aerobics Viral Videos, it's still very strong
Blank Space killed it this week with 44M+, I don't remember about SIO doing that in all its weeks, I think it got as maxium as 42M, so she has the #1 no doubts
