The system that Tikimiss and Javan exist in is called ATRL, and last time I checked, there were no blacks only latrines here
Unless we count that HNIC thread

Thats true. You ever wonder why Europeans went to get slaves from Africa instead of enslaving the millions of indigenous people that were already here?

omg
i'm a white supremacist apologist
this literally made me laugh irl you're definitely an example of the also common complex on here where everyone you disagree with is this evil terrible person who just hates everything good in the world
i dismiss sociology sometimes because i think it has some merits but when people learn about it they start thinking they understood it and that clearly the message to take away is that everything ever is just evil oppression and they end up totally losing touch with reality and not looking at the facts and ideas they learned with any kind of rational perspective that can be applied to the real world
but apparently i'm a white supremacist apologist so i guess i can't have valid opinions because i'm pretty much hitler

Sometimes it will be positive ('the beautiful black/white girl'), sometimes not ('the basic black/white girl'), but ideally they all could be said without anyone taking offense just like we do with people's hair or eye colour.

If you're not even American, how can you fix your mouth to make a generalizing statement about the many "tears" that Black people "cry" when you have not even the slightest notion about the struggles they face on a day-to-day basis? Maybe you live in La-la land, or maybe you live in a bubble, but over here in America **** gets real, and many minorities are set up for failure from birth. Plus, if Black people don't complain about things how can their way of life ever improve for them? But I guess you would prefer they not say anything at all, and accept life as it is... but then again, you're not even American so you have absolutely no idea how life is for them to begin with. ![rolleyes](http://www.atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)

Basic was a term that had an underlying meaning relating to black empowerment. White peopled reduced the complexity of the word when they started using it though.
White people are the standard. Taylor embodies many traits that are stereotypically attributed to white people. That's why it's easy to say that she's basic.

Reparations ? You mean financial reparations ? But then, how far back do you go exactly ? We could go back to serfdom, to feudalism. The fact of the matter is that for hundreds of year, 99% of the population lived miserably suffering from diseases, wars, terrible living conditions etc, which were not as bad as slavery of course, but still disastrous. The aristocracy was indeed composed of white people but that doesn't make all whites today prone to racism or seeking some kind of oppression of minorities.
50 years is not a lot indeed, but then look at when women got the right to vote, it was not that much earlier (1944 in my country, 1971 in Switzerland !!!). Blacks got more racism ? Come on now, while racism is still alive and kicking, just as antisemitism is, it's not nearly as bad as 50 years ago, although I'm the first person to say there is still a LOT of progress to be made. I wouldn't say salt, I'd say a little treatment when real fairness would require much stronger doses.

"Basic" is used to describe anyone of any race. It's not racist.

um, how black people were treated 50 years ago was nothing remotely close or comparable to the holocaust...

The tears comment was related to ATRL, not to what happens in the real world. I lived in your country for 5 years so I have some experience, I'm not that clueless.
As for many blacks being set up for failure from birth, that is indeed a sad reality, and it exists to some extent in Europe too affecting blacks and more specifically Muslims, not to mention the daily discrimination But again, I didn't say blacks shouldn't complain about that, I would even encourage them too, I said however that it shouldn't extend to be so sensible that a comment as trivial as 'basic black girl' becomes a huge offense.

Now that you bring that up, I am curious about why they chose to get sales from Africa instead of the indigenous people already there. Though I think it's a topic for another day

Except Romans and Greeks (white people) were slaves during the Middle ages and it wasn't a one way thing. Slavery was common back then.

omg are you kidding me? it's obvious why they didn't - if they tried to enslave the indigenous people they would die!!! they can fight back, people who are already taken down by their home country can't, especially since they don't have an entire tribe supporting them. yes european countries have taken down indigenous people before but that is incredibly difficult while taking people who won't fight back is simple. the ridiculous amount of ignorance about history here is just...

If that's what you meant, I must say your choice of words were very poor. Thanks for clarifying...
But you never said "basic black girl," you said "stupid black girl" and that's a difference.
