Frozen just raked in $1.2 billion in tickets alone to become the fifth highest grossing movie of all time. Cartoons have widespread appeal.
There are kids cartoons and adult cartoons, like South Park, Family Guy and Adventure Time.
This forum doesn't comprise of children, yet cartoons still get discussed in-depth, like Spongebob Squarepants, Sailor Moon, South Park and Pokemon.
Cartoons have a far wider reach than blasphemy does. More people watch cartoons than they study 15th century renaissance art.
And I mean, just because it features animation doesn't mean it was a children's cartoon. It was tongue-in-cheek. There was an ice cream cone twerking and an ice cream sandwich that looked stoned. It wasn't like a cuddly teddy bear singing the alphabet and nursery rhymes
