NG's Top 30 Joints Of 2008...Presents : Oh Sh-nap! (Part V)
Before going into the top 20 joints, there are 25 songs this year that are so close to making it in the top 30. However, these singles fall short, but I still love them! These songs might be released too late or maybe I just didn't listen to them more enough; therefore, I'd say oh sh-nappp to these tracks.

35. The Ting Tings - That's Not My Name
- This song is way too catchy. The Ting Tings definitely has a way to make their songs recognizable to the listeners, especially in That's Not My Name. They call me 'hell'! They call me 'Stacey'! They call me 'her'! They call me 'Jane'! That's not my name, that's not my nameee.
34. Santogold - L.E.S. Artistes
- Santogold is definitely gold worthy in my book. I'm giving her props for the most unique style I have ever come across an artist in a while. The video for L.E.S. Artistes is odd yet amazing at the same time. Oh, and I love her self-titled album. ^_^
33. 3OH!3 - Don't Trust Me
- Stupid, but fun ass track! This track is a definition of a party time. I can't get this part out of my head, Shhhhushh girl! Hush your lips, do the Helen Keller and talk with your hips <3 Too bad the video is so retarded or else it would have made my top 30.
32. Kanye West - Love Lockdown
- My man, Kanye! I loved this song since the first time he performed in during the VMAs. It's new and refreshing for his style. Don't worry, if you expect Love Lockdown to be in my top 30 because the other Kanye single is definitely making my list.
31. Death Cab for Cutie - I Will Possess Your Heart
- This is a beautiful song. The way to listen to this track is to enjoy the full 8 minutes of it. I love the opening lyrics while we were pulling in by the soothing instrumental music as it starts, How I wish you could see the potential, the potential of you and me. It's like a book elegantly bound, but in language you can't read just yet. Just beautiful.

This has to be my fav set from you yet, NG. Lots of great stuff here. I like every song i've heard, and i'll be sure to check out 3OH!3. I would check them out on your player, but MTV US hates Canadians.
