Britney Spears has reportedly proven herself to be the biggest diva ever to appear on The X Factor after snubbing the contestants and refusing to meet Simon Cowell backstage.
The singer, who appeared on Saturday night's show, also turned down the dressing room provided and instead insisted on using Simon Cowell's private green room.
Britney's minders banned Simon Cowell from chatting to the star in her room ahead of the show and the judges were forced to grab a quick photo with her in the corridor, reports The Sun.
An X Factor insider told the paper: "You have never seen so many heavies. Even around the judges' dressing rooms were sealed off by Britney's security people. When the judges went to meet her, her security wouldn't let anyone past."
Britney also shocked the show's judges by not watching the contestants' performances. Previous guests including Take That and even famous diva Mariah Carey spent time mentoring the acts but Britney didn't even watch the show backstage.
When Dermot asked her what she thought of this year's final five she said: "Yes, awesome, thank you. I met so many people, the place is beautiful."
Britney has also been criticised by viewers after miming throughout the performance of her latest single - the judges gave her a standing ovation even though other acts who have appeared on the series have sung live.

Bashing insuing as I expected. The performance is the biggest news story of the day, been the headline of the day which is pretty pathetic seeing all the stuff going in the World and all they can do is bash Britney. This is gonna stop Britney coming from Britain if they're gonna be unhappy with her miming. She always has? She's an entertainer/performer. I understand the fact that she mimed on a singing contest, when she has all this fame and she mimes. But if she's done since 1999, then people should be used to it as people have said. The thing that startles me is how they haven't brought up the whole Alexandra miming scenario? That hasn't come to anything, but Britney who has mimed for years is getting slammed as per usual. As soon as she gets back up on her feet, the press knock her back down?
Also Lily Allen has been bashing her to on Radio 1 this afternoon.
And Delicious (Dani), I'm trying to act innocent, mmm...funny, because according to the press today, they've started bashing, so yeah
