I know they are two different labels but about Country music i have read and noticed myself that nearly every song by big artists (Blake, Carrie, Miranda, etc) gets to reach the top spot and so every record label is happy and can brag about a #1 for their artists. It's not the first time a song "has to wait its turn to #1", and it won't be the last.
Back to Tim/Lady A, Big Machine issued an ad for #1 and as we have seen it's already outgaining Bartender this week, so there you go.

Yeah I saw the advert on the country update last week and this week. Its messy but I guess its okay for Bartender to hang out for one more week before its peak

Yeah i'm quite annoyed because Bartender has been flying up the chart and it would have gone to #1 last week or this week already! But oh well, as you said it's okay, next week it's ours!!
