Okay at you shading Katy when a gif from her performance of Walking On Air was your avatar last week... And now it's a Gaga one. Jumping from bandwagon to bandwagon isn't a cute look sis!
The idea of bandwagons is so tired when it comes to pop music. People can like more than one artist at a time. Maybe some people didn't enjoy the video?
I understand that this isn't everyone's cup of tea (me included), but I don't get the hate in here at all. It's vibrant, colorful, and very well made - everything you would expect from a Katy Perry video.
The preview made this look like it was going to be a terrible video, but it turned about to be really good. Yes it may have been childish at times but that's what made me enjoy it. The only thing I didn't like was that she started to wear colored wigs again. I thought the point of the video where she burned the blue wig was to symbolize that she wasn't going to start wearing them again in her new era.
Why can't people understand the concept?

If they would just listen to the lyrics and the storyline they match perfectly.
Is California Gurls lyrics seem like a candy land board game? Does Part Of Me lyrics refer to the army? I don't see people saying things about those... It's just a theme they picked to carry the story but people are too blind to see that
This is like... embarrassing the scene where she's like a statue with all of the gold snakes was really cool but the rest was boring and pointless. A for visuals but the rest was bad. I wish she would've done something darker/sexier instead of childish.
