I would say this year was very impressive for Beyonce because she was still ALL over the media outlets without releasing new music. She hasnt had a single for some time now and shes still covering magazines. And Rihanna a fashion icon? HAHAHA...homegirl definitely upped her game this year, thats for damn sure. But her leather SNM look hardly makes her an icon. You dont become a fashion icon in one year. Beyonce however IS a fashion icon. Im 100% sure I have read an interview where Rihanna said she is one of Beyonces biggest style fans. If this year belonged to anyone based on radio play, its Fergie. She has OWNED radio and if she wasnt so harsh in the face she could have gotten more media love then she did. She rarely looks as good as Beyonce or Rihanna but her album has produced amazing singles. Rihanna really only had one big hit. Her album is great, but only one chart topper. So to say it was her year is you being a fan and being blind to the facts. So...enough from you today.

um, when did i ever say 2007 was Rihanna's year?

If you would actually READ what i said, i said Rihanna was named style star of the year and no-one really paid attention to Beyonce's style like what that article claims.
The thing with Beyonce, is that you can tell people got bored of her hence why her singles her ignored and no-one really cared for her but she just insisted on keeping her name up there hence why she PERSONALLY shoved herself down everybody's throat. Nobody really cared for her like that this year but she kept forcing herself to get noticed. The only thing people were really talking about was Irreplaceable which was last year, that tragic 'country' performance at the AMAS showed that and that random 'lifetime achievement' award or whatever she got was so irrelevant.
Anyways i just noticed the website was concreteloop which has always overhyped her anyway so i'm not suprised they're exaggerating her yet again.
Rihanna had 3 hits this year but she had a monumental year because of Umbrella's huge success and her worldwide success with
GGGB. Fergie is probably the biggest female artist of the year because everything she cranked out was like instantly #1.
