Some people in this thread simply cannot accept the fact BJ is by far the blandest album released by a pop girl this year. Alien and Perfume are the only interesting songs. The rest is so 2 thousand and late. EDM over and over again. And please, don't tell me it's personal. I don't care whether she's credited or not. The album lacks hits and uniqueness. I had huge expectations since Britney used to be my favorite. Been witnessing nothing but lack of Britney's interest in what she's doing for a long time. Kinda disappointing yet I gotten used to seeing her paying it all dust. I wish she spent more time practicing and recording songs with smash potential. I miss Womanizer and Till the World Ends-sized hits. Work Bitch is just meh.

I'm not gonna try and stop the draggin' cuz' basiclly everyone knew this would happen but they are having more fun acting all shocked and going on about how Britney is fading when in reality Britney will be remembered way after most of your fave's will be gone.

Just the fact she's actually able to release an 8th album 15 years in, is something to brag about.
The fact she's selling it off her name only is even more impressive.

But if you choose to look at the number as it is, 115-125k, well than, lets talk when and if your fave's will get to album number 8th.

It's not an excuse, but it's a contributing factor. She missed many opportunities to promote her project to the US audience and she chose to pass for whatever reason.

On the other had, her peers were everywhere and still couldn't break 300K with hot singles.

Do I think her numbers would have been 300K with promo? Absolutely not. But she hasn't given the general public a reason to buy her album. And there's no one to blame for that but herself. She can't sell off her name alone anymore. She needs to put in work (bitch). Any lack of success is her own doing until she does.
