Very similar construction, syllable-repeating chants, big chorus, even similar themes and the same producer... The list of reasons is quite long.
"Judas" is underrated, though.
And the Alejandro video is great. Only the BTW and TEOG videos were messy - the former to complicated (for the GP) with dull colors and over-the-top imagery even for her, and the latter a boring and uneventful let down. But both have up-sides; in TEOG for example, I really loved the coloring and how they worked well for the narrow concept they had, and the actual look of the video was beautiful. It was just the striking simplicity that causes a divide over the video.
Does anyone else think that one day, maybe even 25 years from now, TEOG will be Gaga's "Holiday"? Meaning that it's not one of her biggest hits, but will come to be one of her most well-known and iconic songs? It's honestly the most timeless song she's done, and though I usually overlook it, it really is arguably her best track.
