FIMI is changing the album certification levels.

Gold down to 25k, platinum down to 50k (was 30k and 60k)

So diamond will be 500k.

Looks like the single certifications will be expanded so that there will be a difference between 2x, 3x, 4x platinum etc. Right now it's all "multiplatinum".

I assume they will update the certifications of all the albums and singles currently in their archive (which is everything released 2009 and later).

This will go in effect on January 1st 2014.
