Don't kill me, no me he atrevido a oir a Nada Surf aún, pero lo he visto tantas veces en conteos tuyos que creo que al fín daré mi brazo a torcer. The Rifle's Spiral recién me gustó cuando le dí una oída al disco (creo que acabó gustándome más que Simple Song), así como también Feel To Follow de The Maccabees, banda que hasta hace un par de meses pensaba que era nueva en el ámbito musical. Tuvimos a Sleep Alone a sólo 7 puestos de diferencia, genial canción. Chevy Thunder y The Love You Love también me gustan. Awesome set!
8/10 That's the only song that I like from The Maccabees. I've seen them so many times in your top and in Blackheart's top that I think I should give them a second chance. Nice song by The Walkmen! I didn't know it. Dream On is my favourite from this set! I'm really glad to see it so high!

"Madness"
The 2nd Law
Muse is one of my favorite bands ever. I was expecting a lot from their expected comeback album 'The 2nd Law'. To be honest, it disappointed me a bit. When I first heard "Survival" I was like WTF is this?. But luckily they released "Madness" as a single, a song quite different from their previous stuff and one of the best tracks on the album.

I remember when I first listened to this song I thought it was simiar to "Walk", a song that was just OK for me. But after many listens and especially when I went to see watch them live I began to like it more and more. It is unavoidable not to sing when it says ''Easy for you to say...''. When they performed it live they made a long pause as you can see in the video. Awesome track!

The Vaccines made my favorite song of the year in 2011 with "Post Break-Up Sex" and also my favorite album with their debut. This year they released their second one and I really like it, but I still prefer their previous one. "Teenage Icon" was one of my favorite since the first time I listened to the album. Don't know why, but every morning I started my playlist with this song, maybe because I just was on the mood to listen to it. The Raveonettes is one of my favorite duos and appeared several times in my charts, but this is the first time they reach Top 20!

Date: April 4th, 2012 Event: Quilmes Rock 2012 Location: River Plate Stadium
Before they came on stage, Arctic Monkeys made their performace (notice that they were my main attraction of the festival and ended up at #9 on my list). As I said when I wrote their review, it started to rain when they were almost ending their performance.
I was in one of the tribunes with no ceiling. The rain didn't stop until the eight or nine Foo Fighters' song. The worst thing was that they lasted more than thirty minutes to come on stage. Most of the people around me began to think that it was going to be suspended. But after around forty minutes under the rain Dave Grohl appeared running on stage! Most of the audience on the field were under some roofs and when he appeared they all ran to the stage, something I could perfectly see from where I was. It looked like a stampede! "All My Life" was the song chosen to open their show followed by "Times
Like These" and "Rope". At that time we had already forgotten about the rain and the cold. That's when Dave first spoke and told us something like this: 'This is going to be a ****ing long and messy night, you know? I don't ****ing care about the rain, I don't ****ing care about the water. I've waited seventeen years to get here'. We laughed and shouted full of excitement. We already knew that they wouldn't disappoint us.
It was their first time in my country, that's why they wouldn't cancel the show just because of the rain!
The setlist was quite diverse, with songs from all of their albums and many hits that people wanted to hear that night! Dave is funny as in their videos on stage. He made us laugh almost everytime he spoke.
The rain broke some of the lights they use during their performance. Dave explained that to us and so they had to turn on the lights of the entire stadium. They made their performance at full light, something unusual in a night concert. Dave said something like: "I don't ****ing care about the broken lights... at least I can perfectly see your faces", lol.
Grohl showed us (by popular demand) his ability on drums in "Cold Day In The Sun" with Taylor Hawkins on vocals. It was amazing! They also invited Joan Jett & The Blackhearts to perform before them on their tour. And when they were on the encore, they called Joan Jett to perform "Bad Reputation", that was something more than great!
Despite the rain, the cold, the full lights, the far distance to the stage from where I was, it was an incredible show! Thank you Dave Grohl for turning our night from a wet and cold one to a memorable night of rock 'n' roll, making one of the best concerts of the year!

No esperaba a los Foo Fighters tan alto , "These Days" me gusta, pero no le presté mucha atención xD, no era de mis favoritas del Wasting Light que me encanta, claro que seguro creció bastante con verlos en vivo, debe haber sido glorioso ese día.
No había escuchado "She Owns The Streets", me gustó bastante que bueno que haya quedado tan alta.
