Im the last person who needs to read up about reggae. The drums in OMN are not really reggae influenced. Plus reggae music have long used soft rock melodies. See: Bob Marley, Beres Hammond etc.

The only group that u see can see the influence is No Doubt with Settle Down and Push and Shove. Thats a direct influence.

No it wasn't. Not with that intro.

If that hadn't even been a part of the entire song, it would have been more appealing. Shorter time-spans are more appropriate for pop singles.

Also, radio gave it a warm reception for the longest time. Its sales, however, tanked. So there was no incentive for it to be promoted any further.
