I really don't expect nothing from this video , but after I watched is my second favorite video of the year ( the first is Try ) , it's so good , Lana's voice is so hypnotic and soft , and all the frames are pure art tbh...

I'm not gonna lie , the motorcyce parts remind me of Judas from Lady Gaga , I kknow Gaga don't invent the motorcycles , but I just have that picture in my head.

Overall a masterpiece for a great artist

For a minute I thought Lana it's gonna kill some guy , because at the end he chase her with a rape attitude but not happen anything

I enjoyed watching this. The meaning of the song and vid together is obviously going forward while ignoring all the bad experiences you've had in the past. Very optimistic indeed, but it feels out of place with the whole image she has created for herself. I mean not a year ago she was singing about video games being a metaphor that her lover was actually playing with her in a very cruel manner and later on "you and I, we were born to die". People change, but in her context, I just find it really hard to believe which makes the song really bad for me. Overdramatic vocals and cheap Coldplay-like violins that feel like they were added last minute as well. Overall a lifeless song trying its hardest to be a something about life. I guess she is really living in paradise now.

Ride refers to a period of her life that was before she met the person she wrote Video Games about. at least that's how I understood it.

Many of us Lana obsessives have been saying this for quite a while. I think her potential was first spotted in the BTD video (specifically the scene where she is in the car and looking very very sad and world weary). She really does have the potential to be an excellent actress and the fact that the camera loves her won't exactly hinder her here!
