 | 65. Josh Kelley "Georgia Clay"
The last charting appearance from country singer Josh Kelley. I just really love his voice so much and this song is such a beautiful example of how amazing his voice it. Even if you don't want to listen to the country stuff of his, at least give his pop music.
|
 | 64. Jason Aldean "Don't You Wanna Stay" (ft. Kelly Clarkson)
Another one of my charting songs from 2010. This is Jason's final charting song and Kelly's first of two charting songs. I know that I can't sing well, but I would love more than anythings than to just sing this with someone that mean a lot to me. And I know about 60% of you all would love to sing this as well.
|
 | 63. The Civil Wars "Barton Hollow"
#1 Indie Song | I fell in love wtih this song back when Taylor Swift first mentioned The Civil Wars in one of her tweets the week thier album came out. And when Vh1 added them as a You Outta Know artist I was so happy. Sadly this song didn't really get much radio support. This is The Civil Wars' final charting song.
|
 | 62. Avril Lavigne "Smile"
And we have Avril's final charting song this year. Smile was an instant favorite of mine from the first time I heard Goodbye Lullabye. I am very dissapointed with her record lable and how badly they promoted the song in the US. This could have easily been one of her biggest songs if they would have given it a chance.
|
 | 61. Andy Grammer "Keep Your Head Up"
This is absolutely one of the best feel good songs of the year and the best out of the ones that got big on the radio. I got this song when it was released at the free video of the week back in spring. Everything about this song is amazing. I can't wait to see Andy can ride the success of this song for his follow up singles.
|
 | 60. Ellie Goulding "Lights"
So happy that she is finally starting to get attention here in the US. While I think that her label is far to late with pop radio, I am very eager to seee how well this song performs here and if it can peak higher than it did after the SNL performance. This is Ellie's only charting song this year.
|
 | 59. 3 Doors Down "When You're Young"
Lead single off of the band's fifth album Time of My Life. This album is just as good as their last one, if not better, but radio isn't supporting them this time unlike with It's Not My Time. The message in this song is just so powerful and brilliant, I don't think there was a better way to portray it and the video it was given.
|
 | 58. Keith Urban "Long Hot Summer"
Keith comes back with his final charting song this year. Long Hot Summer is one of the best country party songs released this year and I am glad that helped continue Keith's country #1 streak.
|
 | 57. Michelle Branch "Loud Music"
What should have been Michelle's comback song to pop radio but sadly, the radio is far to busy playing the same music thousand and thousads of times completely ****ing over other artists. I am quite hoping that MIchelle's next single will change her luck.
|
 | 56. Chris Young "Tomorrow"
After listening to Voices from his previuos album I was looking forward to what Chris would put out on his next album. Tomorrow was a perfect song to continue to expand my love for his music. In a vague way I can relate to this song, This is Chris' final charting songs.
|
 | 55. Katy Perry "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)"
My second favorite song on Teenage Dream, far behind Hummingbird Heartbeat. I personall don't understand people all the time but how fickley they are towards artist, but I will support artists that I love even if I don't like the single. So I don't understand people who supported E.T. but not this song.
|
 | 54. Mumford & Sons "Little Lion Man"
The final appearance from british fold band Mumford & Sons. I can't believe I have been a fan of thie music for nearly two years now. Especially with them only starting to get big about a year and a half ago. I bet not many of you would have been able to guess that a group like this could get big in the US during it's elecrto phase. |
 | 53. Lights "Toes"
One of my favorite new artists from back in 2009. Toes, like most of her songs are lyricsally superb in creativity, but I was kinda sad there wasn't some super crazy cool video for this songs, but none the less I still love the video it did end up getting. I really hope US radio will play her music sooner or later.
|
 | 52. David Nail "Let It Rain"
Yet another song about hefartbreak from a country singer. I'm not sure why but this is one of my favorite ones that was released this year. I don't know why but when I listen to this song I have the strong urge to hug someone tightly and not let them go. I can't wait to see what else this guy puts out. |
 | 51. Demi Lovato "Skyscraper"
The highest Disney song on this countdown. This song reminds me of a book called Bridges that I just finished. As the book's character Kenzie tells Hayward, "The thing about bridges is people walk all over them . They don't give a **** about them until they fall down. I don't want you to fall down" All I could think of was: A) How I was treated in school and B) This song of course, even though the book came out first. This is Demi's only charting song. |

Sorry, dozed off last night before I posted this. Will finish the last two later.
 | 50. Panic! at the Disco "Ready to Go"
Their newest album was a bit of a disappointment, but I was happy with the few shine though tracks and Ready to Go is one of my favorites. After The Ballad of Mona Lisa I am not surprised this song failed to perform. I want to say I hope them the best, but I don't know how confidant I am at this.
|
 | 49. Parachute "Kiss Me Slowly"
Such a beautiful song, I don't think I need to say anything else about this song. I've been in love with Parachute since their single She Is Love and still am in love with the band. This is the first of two charting songs from Parachute. Can you guys guess the higher song?
|
 | 48. AWOLNATION "Sail"
This band was one of the biggest shockers of the year for me. At first listen, I really didn't like Sail, but I randomly decided to give it another listen and really started to really love it. The song is still one of the most interesting songs that I have ever heard. This is the only charting song from AWOLNATION.
|
 | 47. The Goo Goo Dolls "NotBroken"
One of my favorite bands from the 90's and are still putting out amazing music. This is the kind of music that I wish was still on mainstream/pop radio. But sadly it isn't so. But anyways, this song is one of the best songs on their album so I am abo****ely happy that it was released as a single. First of two songs from The Goo Goo Dolls.
|
 | 46. The Fray "Heartbeat"
I've never really been a fan of The Fray until last year and I really started to like their music. When first heard Heartbeat, I was glad that I finally got into the band's music. It is such a beautiful song!!! This is The Fray's only charting song this year.
|
 | 45. Sick Puppies "Maybe"
Had I posted my 2010 singles list, you would have seen this band last year, but since I missed that year I have to show off my love for the band. Maybe isn't my favorite song of theirs, but it is one of my favorite songs reelased this year. But, this isn't their highest charting song. One more to come!
|
 | 44. Train "Save Me San, Francisco"
I was really surprised by how long it took for this song to be choosen for a single. I'm pissed that radio, mainly pop radio, ignored it when it was released. I personally think the song is one of the strongests from the album. Can't wait to see Train dominate again this year like they did in 2010. There is one remaining Train song on this list.
|
 | 43. Kenny Chesney "You and Tequila" (ft. Grace Potter)
What a shocker this song what. Just earlier this year I discovered Grace Potter's band and their sweet glam rock style. Hearing her go from that to team up with Country superstar Kenny Chesney is amazing. Plus Kenny proves why he is one of the biggest names in country radio.
|
 | 42. Edward Maya & Vika Jigulina "Desert Rain"
Suprised that Stereo Love isn't on here and this one is? Well I was in love with the US hit last year, plus I love this song so much more. The beat is insanely infectious and the video is gorgous!!! Sadly two songs stopped it from reaching the top 40, can you guesss who?
|
 | 41. Rascal Flatts "Easy" (ft. Natasha Bedingfield)
My favorite country duet of the year. And talk about another shocking collaboration at that. Who would have thought that British pop singer Natasha Bedignfield would have teamed up with a country band. Rascal Flatts, of course, continue their dominace in the US with another brilliant song.
|
 | 40. Simple Plan "Astronaut"
One of my favorite songs from SP's newest album. I don't know if it was a actual single or just a buzz single, but either way it is a beautiful song and recieved a wonderful video. I hope that they can turn the album around and make themselves more popular in the US again. One more Simple Plan song to come.
|
 | 39. Grace Potter & The Nocturnals "Paris (Ooh La La)
Grace appears again with her band's breakthough single. I fell in love with the song the first time I heard it. Grace's sassy and sensual voice is so amazing. Not my favorite single of eithers but it is still one of the best they have so far! This is Grace Potter & The Nocturnal's final charting song. |
 | 38. Evanescence "My Heart Is Broken"
I pray to god that this song does better than What You Want did. First listen to the album this song became my star track. Such a beautiful and haunting song.
|
 | 37. Stone Sour "Hesitate"
|
 | 36. Alyssa Bernal "Cali, Cali, Cali"
