And are you equating breast size with intelligence?

I was being intentionally ridiculous for the sake of maybe making a couple people laugh, but even though my comments were made with some degree of sarcasm, I think there is some truth to the overall point I was making.
Certainly there's no correlation between breast size and overall intelligence, and of course there are no rules that say Becky Bigboobs with her enormous, fake, knockers couldn't be a Rhodes scholar, but fact is that many people tend to make certain assumptions about others based solely on appearance. And yes, one of the more common assumptions made about people of exceptional beauty, or people with incredible physiques, is that perhaps such people lack intelligence, or that it's not necessary for such people to be intelligent because their good looks will allow them to coast through life. I wouldn't be silly enough to claim with any amount of seriousness that the perception of Adele as a deeply insightful musician exists solely because of her body type, but does the fact that she is not generally considered to be one of music's so-called sexy girls hurt her chances of being taken seriously? No. Do I think certain artists, because of their breast size/sexy physique would have a more difficult time being taken seriously? Yes, possibly. But nothing is an absolute; there are artists that straddle lines and manage to maintain 2 or twenty different musical identities, as you note when you mention Beyonce (I also acknowledged this fact in a later conversation with Celestial), but I think that it's difficult, if not nearly impossible, to strike such a balance in most cases. Much like actors with strange features are frequently typecast as monsters and villains, a pop star with a particular body type may frequently be expected to play to that body type and release music that is a reflection of their image.
And really, this entire discussion has been pointless because I don't believe Katy has any real desire to release meaningful music, nor do I have any desire for her to release such music. I think she releases what she likes, she has fun with it, and her sound seems to reflect her styling and physique. I like that. I'm not trying to blame anyone for the fact that Katy continues to emphasize the size of her boobs. I realize it's totally her decision, and I applaud the decision.

Tired of all this Adele praise and all this Katy bashing.
Katy's on her second album. What do people expect? An album full with violins and 'deep' lovesongs? In my opinion, Katy's still not on the same level as girls like Gaga & Rih & Beyonce. Therefor she can't take as much risks and needs time to secure her place as a pop girl. The risky albums will for sure come later in her career.
Linda Perry can stay mad basically.

she insists that the Teenage Dream album is "crap … sounds like ****," and that's why people are only buying singles and not the album itself.

I couldn't agree more

A lot of critics have said Teenage Dream is just a mess of songs, although there are a few that are good but the rest are .. chaos. I agree.
When I first heard California Gurls and Teenage Dream I thought the album is going to be very catchy, mainstream but cool at the same time. Then I heard Circle the Drain as a promo single and I had a bad feeling since then... And then Who AM I Living For? Pearl? Not Like the Movies? => They all sound aggressive and sad. She just got too many different sounds and feelings. Its just totally opposite. What am I trying to say is how cohesive a album can be. Animal/Cannibal is much of a better album. Ke$ha got songs with sad feelings to it but she still make them blend to the rest, songs like Dancing with Tears in my eyes or Hungover. They still seem to be a part of the album. Thats what Im talking about. Animal is a much more professional album. Although the best songs on Teenage Dream is BETTER than the best songs on Animal. Thats just how sad it is.

She didn't really say anything bad, though. We all know Katy's music is just pop fluff that caters to the general public so people will buy it. Like she said, that's not a bad thing 'cause it's obvious that Katy wants to make that kind of music.

She has huge breasts, so it'd be hard for her to not emphasis them, lol.
Though I feel she obviously uses them to her advantage. But what girl with big breasts doesn't? Large breasts are very powerful.

I mean, as a Katy fan, I agree. People like her singles, and that's why they purchase them and her singles reach multi platinum. However, her album sales are another story.
Adele's album is flawless from start to finish and that's why people buy her albums. The only thing great about Katy's album are the singles she released, so why would anyone buy the album? It's cheaper to just buy the singles.
