They both did have potential, but lacked in the performance aspect. Haeley was terrible on Wednesday and Jermaine came across as really annoying and his pitch was all over the place. Both chose the wrong songs.
As far as John goes, I almost fell asleep during his performance. Michelle had a really good voice, but that song ate her alive and she was really, really pitchy during it.
Doesn't have anything to do with their race.
Next week I hope that Katie Stevens and Lacey Brown go home for the girls. For the guys, I'd definitely eliminate Todrick Hall unless he does something spectacular next week. He's got a great voice, but he comes across as a diva and chooses the most terrible songs for himself.
Besides Todrick, Tim Urban definitely doesn't deserve to be there. So yeah, I'd pick Todrick & Tim to go home probably. Even though Aaron Kelly drives me INSANE, he won't be leaving.
. But in the end, I guess it is about the singing ...
