Placements like the Mars in Cancer or the Pluto in the 4th do not mean you're inherently doomed or at a disadvantage. Even aspects like squares and oppositions that are thought of as more challenging and disharmonious aspects are merely lessons you need to learn in order to operate more effectively and harmoniously. Squares usually denote tension that you must work to overcome through action and oppositions tend to deal with a need for balance in order to overcome a sense of division occurring in your chart.

Yeah I definitely don't think I'm doomed, but those are just the more challenging aspects of my chart, that I'm having a harder time finding balance with.
My most dominant planets are Sun, Moon and Pluto. Sun/Pluto in Scorpio and Moon in Gemini, which are some of the most difficult energies to integrate since they don't flow well together at all and form an inconjunction. I always try to make logic with my emotions (Gemini energy) and go back on decisions a lot. There is a lot of anxiety involved too.
Mars in Cancer is considered weak Mars, since it's in its fall. I'm fortunate to have Mars Trine Pluto and Sun Trine Mars too, but generally I have to emotionally prepare myself for every little action. It's also very close to the 12th house too, where it's hidden.
So yes, a lot of adjustment needed in my chart. Astrology is quite fascinating though and I think quite useful to learn more about yourself and then start making conscious adjustments.
