YEP. It's sad that even though they're in the sh***er, have no money to release an album, and have lost their distribution deal - that they want to clasp onto her and drag her down with them. :/

Anyway, I was just watching the full set. I'm still not a big fan of her dodging a few notes but hopefully that will come. She hit the F#5 on Boy Without A Heart better than I've ever heard it though, and in general it was probably one of her best performances ever.

Did anyone else see when she was tweeting Jordy Towers(also on Blackground Records) and he tweeted something like "aaah, freedom!"
It does seem like she's about to get out of that label situation, but yeah there were ways to get out in the past. There are certain laws in California in regards to holding someone in a contract for a certain amount of time without doing anything with/for them, also I feel like she couldve just up and left the label, they wouldve sued her BUT in court she couldve easily proven that she owes them nothing because of their lack to release her albums, new or old which actually cost them money. I think she couldve won any court case brought against her by them.

I remember watching a video of their other artist Jenna(I think) playing a "show" at "Blackground Recording Studios" but all it looked like was one of those Public Storage units. LOL. Oh Blackground, it was only a matter of time.

Yep, before all this Blackground Records mess - she was also with Da Family Entertainment, and she sued them because they wouldn't release her album(All I Want Is Everything), wouldn't let her out of contract, and wouldn't let her record any music for another album. Looks like the same thing will be happening with Blackground. *fingers crossed*
