No. They are anime only, well unless you count Pokemon Yellow. And I guess not Misty and Brock as they are gym leaders, but they are from Gen. 1, this is Gen. 5

UGH!!!! I hated it!!! Just when I was about to kill that bitch he used volt switch It was a very long fight, probably the longest. It was just ridiculous. I was so happy that I won. But the reason why it took so long was because my ground pokemon's weren't strong enough and I was too lazy to train them so I had to beat the gym leader with my Herdier.

Zebstrika? It has great Speed, good Attack and due to its Lightningrod/Motor Drive ability by far your best bet against the fourth gym leader.

Yeah I had to do it twice. But I almost one the first time. Her strongest pokemon had only like 10 hp over and I had a little bit more but if he attacked me first I would die. So I did my last attack again and **** I was paralyzed so I couldn't move and my pokemon fainted. But the second time it went much easier.

Heh, that sounds unfortunate. The gym leaders use Full Restores much more often in this game than I remember from the previous ones.

It's also kind of ingenious design, they know that people would try to exploit Electric 's only weakness - Ground , only to find out she uses Flying types.

Archeops has insane Attack, good Special Attack and Speed. Unfortunately his ability halves his Attack stats when at half or lower health - in single player you can remedy this with healing - competitively he's not as good.

Carracosta is a reliable physical tank with subpar HP but good Attack. It basically boils down to whether you have a good water type already.

Panpour - lv. 12

Beat the first gym last night, explored the Dreamyard place a bit. Caught Munna! So cute. But I benched her for now, cause I hate carrying around to much extra baggage so early in the game. Purrloin is for sure not staying on my team, Snivy for sure is. Lillipup won't stay on for too long, although I will say that he is pretty impressive. And Panpour depends. I heard that the monkeys suck, which is a shame cause I love the designs. So I'm gonna put a little work into Panpour to see if she will stick around.
