119. Shamir - In for the Kill
All those saxophones in completely different time signatures YEs! The rest is the same old Shamir nonsense, the great synth line, pseudo sexy verses, etc etc.
118. Allie X - Bitch
The verses are her best Lana Del Rey impersonation, and the chorus is her best Alice Glass/Crystal Castles impersonation. Neither are convincing, but the mismatch of the styles is unique and entertaining enough for that not to even matter.
117. f(x) - Rude Love
OMG. Giving me that 2001 Kylie Minogue club remix teas. I can't even with this song. The buildup to absolutely nothing, the RUUUUUUDE, everything.
116. Scavenger Hunt - Till I See a Sign
The sister song to 2shy by Shura, but less insecure and a little more power pop.
115. Class Actress - High on Love
I'm high on love, and I just can't get high enooough~. That's kind of a lame line ngl, but the rest of the song is really good.
114. Neon Indian - C'est La Vie (Say the Casualties)
A lot of this album kinda hints at the really weird New Wave **** of the early 80s that's basically faded into complete obscurity (think Lizzy Mercier Descloux/Cristina, etc).
113. Wonder Girls - Candle
Wondagirls! Their first entry on this list is one of the more Madonna influenced tracks. The vocals, the themes, etc. But the synth lines sounds like something straight out of an Erasure or Pet Shop Boys album. Rhyming Poker Face with Joker Face too, is like the best rhyme of the year. When will your faves?
112. Selena Gomez - Revival
OMG, this is exactly what I'm talking about when I talk about Selena's taste level. Could you see her peers doing something this classy AND next level. She's obviously hugely influenced by Tinashe and her ilk yet still keeps it Selena.
111. Grimes - Artangels
Of all the guitar hook-y songs on art Angels, this one is the 2nd best (you know what the best is). Oh god that chorus though, there are like 20 parts of it, but every part is amazing. Of course she speaks French too

Awoo, The First Temptation, Warm Hole, Diamonds on the Rebound are all fantastic! Let me listen to that Little Mix song though, I remember hearing their album and thinking they were kind of good.

Bitch was my fave from Allie X for sure, Rude Love was my favourite from my first 4 walls listen, CANDLE is my favourite from WG, and your Neon Indian and Grimes picks are great too!
You're so right about that Scavenger Hunt song sounding like a companion to 2shy, I'm really liking it.
I have a very love/hate relationship with "Bitch" for the same things you mentioned. Right now I'm loving it though. Shamir, Class Actress, Neon Indian and Selena are cool too! But I think "ArtAngels" is, ironically, my least favorite on the album.
