I believe everyone has someone that is right for them but you can love people who aren't right for you. It's hard to find that one person and some people don't ever get that lucky but no-one has a guidebook on finding the right person and living happily ever after.
You learn as you go and as with everything you have to learn in life, you'll screw it up sometimes. Divorce while obviously not preferable is not that bad unless there are children involved, then it is sad.

I agree with that, it is better to divorce than the spend years being unhappy. Happiness is the most important thing in life, it's empty without it.

Disagree. I believe relationships are the most important thing in life. It is not always about being happy... Life is about the ups and downs and making it through the hard times with others. It's about experiencing all types of emotion.... sorrow, joy, anger, sadness, etc.

I know, I edited. I just find it odd how Gaga seems to be so pro-gay, yet so many members who claim to stan for her are against gay marriage. I'm aiming anything at you, it's just something I noticed, I expected it to be the other way around.

If you are in an abusive relationship, either mental or physical or you have been consistently unhappy in a relationship for years, that is not healthy and you should leave.
I don't mean you have to be happy 100% of the time, I mean you should be happy overall. If you are happy when your partner is happy, your doing something right.
I know all about the ups and downs of relationships, I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years and he lives 6000 miles away, that doesn't make me happy all the time nor is it easy but overall I am happy and it is worth it.
Get what I mean now?
