Season 2 will begin on April 10, where they will air the first 7 episodes. They will air the other 8 later this year.
Much sooner than I expected! I'm a little disappointed that they're splitting it up but I guess that's what they do for TWD. If they have the latter 8 episodes leading up to TWD, it should return on August 14th, which is only about a 2.5 month break.

Hmm, so essentially 15 & 16 consecutive week block of zombies?
With June/July and December/January breaks when TV ratings aren't so hot anyway. I wonder if it'll make the original show feel like less of an Event now with basically double the programming.

Yeah, I fear that could become the case, but they obviously feel very confident about this series to go from 6 to 15 episodes just like that. I kinda feel like they should've kept it smaller, maybe 10, but I'm not complaining at all. I think enough people don't watch FTWD that TWD will still steal the spotlight.
